Meeting the OSCE
JPR met with a delegation from the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) during its fact-finding tour of the UK, to brief them about the current state of antisemitism in the country.
The OSCE is made up of over 300 parliamentarians from 57 different countries, and informs policy on a wide range of security-related concerns, including arms control, confidence- and security-building measures, human rights, national minorities, democratisation, policing strategies, counter-terrorism and economic and environmental activities.
At the meeting, JPR outlined its plans for more in-depth research into antisemitism in the UK, and shared some of its recent work in the area, including its follow-up analysis of the pan-European study JPR conducted for the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights.
