JPR’s Executive Director, Dr Jonathan Boyd, was in Paris this month, to present his latest analysis of antisemitism in Europe to senior executives of Jewish federations from the United States and Canada.
The conference, organised by the Jewish Agency for Israel, brought together the top professionals to help them to develop a deeper understanding of some of the issues facing Jews in Europe, and particularly in France. The group spent considerable time meeting Jewish community members in Sarcelles, a suburb of Paris where antisemitic riots broke out in July 2014, as well as other community and governmental leaders, including Sarcelles Mayor Francois Pupponi (pictured).
JPR’s presentation focused on investigating the different ways in which antisemitism is measured, and how different methodological approaches generate different results.
