As part of JPR's ongoing commitment to social research excellence to support Jewish community planning and development, a new, Senior Research Fellow has joined our research team.
Carli Lessof has worked in social research over the course of three decades, including spells at the London School of Economics, the Department for Work and Pensions, the National Audit Office, NatCen Social Research and TNS BMRB (now Kantar, Public Division). She brings a wealth of research skills to JPR, particularly in the areas of longitudinal studies, evaluation research and innovation in research data collection.
Among her responsibilities at JPR, Carli will be developing our capacities in the area of evaluation research, with a view towards helping Jewish organisations to better assess the effectiveness of their work and enhance their impact. In addition, she will expand our facility to survey Jews in new and more cost-effective ways, and manage the community statistics programme we run in partnership with the Board of Deputies of British Jews.
Carli has an MA in Applied Social Research from Manchester University and is currently completing her PhD in social statistics at Southampton University.
